This painting is called "In the Blue Zone: Audrey Hepburn" because 'blue' is a color I associate with peace, silence, stillness. There can be chaos, noise and craziness all around you but if you are in the blue zone, you are in your own world, at peace. I think Audrey Hepburn must have enjoyed that sometimes. It is painted with acrylic paint on canvas using a palette knife for incredible texture and a graffiti look.
